Who is Jacci Jones?
Hello and welcome to my website.
My name is Jacci Jones, I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis, NLP Coaching and ‘The 3 Principles’ and a qualified nursery nurse.
I am a very proud mum of three inspirational kids and a grandparent to a boisterous 2 year old.
Over the last 20 years, I have facilitated training in various establishments for Foster carers, Social Services, Parents, Teachers and other Therapists via conferences and training programmes.
During that time I was a level 4 Foster Carer for 13 years, mainly fostering high risk children with severely challenging behaviour. After (what felt like) the 100th time of having my house smashed up, being kicked in the gut and swore at and feeling helpless to make a change to stop the cycle of challenging behaviour, aggression and disruption I decided to train as a Psychotherapist.
I now run a successful private practice in Chorley, Lancashire, as well as running a support group Parent-Plus, which offers support, training and education to parents, teachers and carer’s.
Please feel free to have a good look around my website and social media channels and see all the free support I have on offer. I have created loads and loads of free content and videos to help support you. I have a Blog, a Facebook Page (which I regularly do live Q + A’s on where I answer any questions you have about mental health), a Private Facebook Group, a Podcast (Living Life Being Human), a Youtube Channel, a support group for parents (Parent Plus), an email subscription where I often give out free videos and downloadable material (subscribe below) and I’ll soon be offering free and paid online courses.
If however, you would like to see me on a one to one basis or have any questions please click the contact me button below and fill in your details on the contact page and I will get straight back to you.
I offer face to face coaching and therapy from my private practice in Chorley, Lancashire or via online zoom calls.
It can be hard taking that first step to seeing a therapist, especially as there are lots of different names for therapy, counselling, life coaching etc and it can be very confusing trying to decide which one would be the most suitable for you and your journey. If you are nervous about seeing a therapist for the first time, or you don’t understand the difference between a Therapist and a Counsellor my Therapy page may help to clear up a few questions you might have.
